The Parker Homestead – 1665 is a unique remnant of the past located in Little Silver, NJ. It is listed on both the New Jersey and National Registers of Historic Places, and managed by an all-volunteer, non-profit corporation, Parker Homestead-1665, Inc. In this piece, Trustee Elizabeth Hanson introduces the site to NJ Studies readers and shares a recently transcribed 19th century letter from the archive.Downloads
